Meet Candace
Hi there, I am running for legislative office. I am campaigning to represent Southwestern Harford County as your Maryland State Delegate representing Legislative District 7B.
Delegates represent the voices of their constituents (that's YOU) on local issues at the State level and ensure those interests are included in policy, legislation and funding appropriations that make a direct impact on the community back home.

My Background
I grew up in the Abingdon area, attended Edgewood High School and earned Political Science and Psychology degrees from Harford Community College. I have been in the mortgage/title industry for over 20 years and currently self-employed as a Licensed Title Producer helping homeowners navigate their mortgage transactions. I reside in Joppa and have 2 grown children.
We’re living in a time of division and distrust, the current environment and overreach have motivated me to step forward. Maryland needs leaders who can listen, build bridges, and focus on solutions rather than noise.
What issues matter most?
Candace is committed to tackling the high cost of living, especially the rising expenses of housing, utilities, healthcare, daycare, and groceries. As a parent who has faced financial struggles, she knows what it’s like to stretch every dollar to cover the basics. Those experiences shaped her dedication to making life more affordable and stable for working families a top priority.
